Hey everyone! I've been getting a lot of the same questions over email lately so I thought I'd make a post here to help you out <3
Q: I'm looking for good voice actors for my flash animation - can you recommend some?
A: Try posting an audition here. Just be sure to read the rules on how to post auditions first, and don't be discouraged if it takes a week or two to find what you're looking for.
Q: I sent you a PM about helping me out but you never responded; does that mean you're not interested?
A: It's hard for me to check PMs in a timely manner because lots of spam/useless messages tend to get sent there. If you've got a voice request for me, please send me an email and I'll be sure to get back to you within a few days.
Q: I need a voice actress for my flash but most of the roles I've heard you in have been young/energetic/high pitched - can you do deeper voices?
A: Yes. For an example, here is a role I did as Cortana (starting at around 2:30):

There are plenty of others, but yeah, I actually get asked to do serious/mature roles quite a bit. I just recently got cast as a mom in two different radio commercials, lolol.
I can also play young boy roles like Tails, Ash, etc --- I recently voiced Ash Ketchum for a really fun flash that I hope will be released by the end of summer!
Q: I need some other female voices - do you know of any additional voice actresses on NG?
A: Here are a few very talented ladies I've worked with---I can't guarantee they will be available or have time for whatever you're requesting, but it's always worth a shot:
Hnilmik
Sasuya
Sapphire
Q: What games are you currently into?
A: Lately I've been playing a lot of Pokemon---Heart Gold and Ruby---and I compete for Super Street Fighter IV and Smash Bros. Melee. I've been getting into Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, too. And of course, I love Castle Crashers :'D I NO LONGER HAVE AN XBOX LIVE SUBSCRIPTION, AND I DON'T HAVE PSN SORRY.
Q: Can you give me tips on getting into voice acting?
A: I and others have posted some general tips here:

As for how to get your name out there and what not, just start auditioning for lots of things. Once producers start getting to know you, you will eventually have people coming to you asking for your voice.
Q: Do you accept roles that are just a few lines, or not lead roles?
A: I love small roles! I'm super busy with my day job---I work 40+ hours per week---so large projects with hundreds of lines are a bit difficult for me to commit to. As long as the project looks somewhat decent I'm happy to record for random side characters or whatever; they're fun because I can finish 'em real quick ;P
Q: What was the craziest thing you've auditioned for?
A: PROFESSOR OAK.
Don't worry, it wasn't a serious audition. ;D I'd had a lot of caffeine and threw it in with the rest of my auditions. Sadly, auditions were already closed by the time I sent, but I offered to do random Pokemon cries and such. XD
