I honestly don't think you're going to get much money from your fanbase, who are mostly <16 year olds. The few people who can afford it probably will offer you the advice I'm about to offer you.
Get another job. Sell your voice acting. Do more professional work instead of obsessing over newgrounds. This aren't getting you anywhere.

You're missing the fact that I have been trying to get work for some time; I've got a college degree and everything, and the only reason I had to quit my old job was because I moved. All my roommates are having the exact same problem. A lot of businesses in Southern California are closing right now due to the recession and the people who have jobs certainly aren't quitting because there is no guarantee of a new one, especially with all the layoffs lately. It's not a matter of being lazy or not trying because we are trying as hard as we can.
I have been trying to do professional voiceover which is the entire reason I moved here, but it's not as simple as "send your demo out and people will call you". It's an EXTREMELY competitive and difficult field to get into. In fact, if it weren't for that whole career goal I would have moved back with my parents until I could be more financially stable.

Also, maybe at mid year, more or less before vacation, I might hire ya for some voices for a flash I am gonna make. It is a far date because I'd like to first generate some money for hiring some aditional things like a 3D artist and to pay a license for using music from a specific band. Hah yeah, I was a member of that forum for years. I'm not really interested in fandubs and what not anymore---I prefer flash and games because they let me get my work out there to a larger audience. Especially considering the work is unpaid :x I have no problem finding voice jobs on the internet, it's just that... they're rarely paying ones XD;;;

I did some checking. UPS has a distribution facility in Cerritos. It looks like it is part of the UPS Supply Chain.
They normally staff through temp agencies, but you might be lucky enough to have a facility that has agency representation and accepts applications on-site. It will be temp work with the chance for full-time staffing if you do a good job.
You might want to look into it. Don't call them. Just show up.

Well i was gonna chew you out about something Girlchan. But i have changed my mind.
How much do you need about 400 a month for your share of food & rent and applications to get into acting? ( i don't know I'm estimating.
1. Busk, get a hat or a guitar case then play a guitar, act. But it is pretty embarrassing and the chance of being robbed.
2. Possibility become a positive beggar, get some old clothes that you don't care about then go around saying famous quotes about optimism. Buddy made an easy $100 dollars doing downtown close to a court house and investor's group. Actually would have been 175 but got robbed at lunch guy had an empty syringe. People eat it up.
3. Try apply for an acting dinner job, but then again you are in California you may as well be trying to apply for being a doctor.

4.Go to a club get a guy to give you money. Sketch yes but bring a guy friend to stay in a background, just in case. guys get stupid at this place's by showing off they lose so much money. But if your not conformtable whatever.
5. But poster's at supermarket and community center's. 20 something student looking for a job, speciality is _______< _________, ____________ and voice acting. Will do this this and this.
6. Call up Obama and say "where's my money bitch please?" or No wham no wham no wham obama my money.

Have you gone to anime expo? You can find alot of artiest and animators looking helping hand too. Also there is Voice acting competition there. you dont know if a anime companies are watching and willing to hire you! I myself live in cali and i know whats going on with your problems. I try to write stories and give to artiest but its hard to get artiest to work if they dont have the supplies >___<. Just keep looking hard for a new job and if you cant find any let me know i know couple places willing to hire ppl in these times. Good luck do your best and i hope you reach your dreams ^___^
